hAWAIIAN kAPA aRTS

As kapa makers, our most sacred traditional duty is to make sure the remains of our ancestors can be wrapped in kapa.  Many years ago I worked with groups that were repatriating ancestral human remains, and teaching members of the community to make kapa for these re-burials.  Over the years I am still asked to create kapa that will go with departed loved ones.  Whether for repatriations, to lovingly wrap cremated remains, or to be used as a covering in a casket, I can create these kapa for you.
